Nursing Teacher - The Role

An ambitious and high-performing Sixth Form in Lewisham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursing Teacher to join its thriving Engineering department from November 2026 on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will teach Nursing across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students to achieve their full potential while contributing to the continued success of the department. The school offers excellent professional development opportunities, a supportive leadership team, and the chance to play an active role in curriculum development and enrichment programmes.

· Location - Lewisham

· Position - Nursing Teacher

· Type of work - KS4/KS5 Nursing Class Teacher

· Contract or position start date - 2nd November 2026

· Duration / Likely Duration - 4 terms until end of the academic year July 2027 (possible to extend to a permanent contract)

· Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary to permanent

· Full time/part time - Full time

· Minimum rate of pay - match to pay scale

· Hours - 8:15am - 15:30pm, plus parents evenings
