Test Automation Engineer

We're looking for a senior Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated tests with Java and Selenium (v4+) in agile development teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Run API, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.
• Analyse, document and report test results.
• Manage test data and test environments.
• Improve testing processes with developers, business analysts and stakeholders.

What you bring

• At least three years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
• Agile Testing, structured test methods and the full testing process.
• Knowledge of ISTQB, TMap, STBox or equivalent frameworks.
• TDD, ATDD, BDD, Exploratory Testing and Session-Based Testing.
• Selenium (v4+), Cucumber / Gherkin, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman and Swagger.
• Jira, Confluence, Xray, Git / GitLab, Maven and TestNG or JUnit.
• Java, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• SQL, test data management, XPath, CSS Selectors and Regular Expressions.
• Basic Angular knowledge in a testing context.
• Stakeholder management, critical thinking and independent, proactive teamwork.
• Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively and suggest alternatives.
• Dutch or French, C1.
• English, C1.

Nice to have

• OO architecture knowledge.
• Public-sector experience.
• Agile Scrum knowledge and experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Fluency in both Dutch and French.
