Propulsion Development and Propulsion Test Engineers

Alexander Daniels Global is supporting a fast-growing aerospace and defence technology organisation seeking Propulsion Engineers to support the development of advanced propulsion systems for strategic aerospace applications.

Working at the forefront of propulsion technology, you will contribute to the development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of solid propulsion systems designed for demanding operational environments. This role is focused ondevelopment, experimentation, testing, and industrialisation,rather than purely design-based engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the development and maturation of advanced solid propulsion technologies
• Execute and analyse test programmes, experiments, and performance validation activities
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability
• Contribute to the transition from prototype development to scalable manufacturing
• Investigate technical challenges and implement practical engineering solutions
• Document test results, technical findings, and development activities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production processes
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions arising from testing and operational feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience working on solid propulsion systems.
• Experience working in a development, testing, validation, or manufacturing environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment
