Engineering Team Leader

The Engineering Team Leader ATFCM leads and develops a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 engineers and specialists responsible for the delivery and maintenance of critical Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management software solutions.The role focuses on building a high-performing, autonomous, and sustainable engineering team while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.A key responsibility is to manage the transition and internalization of engineering activities previously handled by an external organization, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, smooth onboarding, risk management, and continuity of service.The Team Leader is also responsible for team organization, resource planning, performance management, competence development, recruitment, and delivery efficiency. The role ensures compliance with software development processes, quality, safety, security, and architectural standards, while promoting strong engineering practices across requirements, testing, code quality, configuration management, documentation, and releases.Profile :Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, system engineering, or a related technical field.Proven experience in leading and developing engineering teams.Experience with organizational transformation, insourcing, outsourcing, or knowledge-transfer initiatives.Experience in regulated, safety-critical, or mission-critical environments is highly valued.Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, engineering processes, and quality management practices.Ability to drive change, improve processes, and build high-performing teams.Strong problem-solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
