This is a senior commissioning leadership position responsible for managing OFCI/CFCI commissioning activities, vendor coordination, testing and commissioning processes, site integration and handover on a major Data Centre project in Helsinki. You will lead commissioning personnel and coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, integration, planning, construction, vendors, subcontractors and client teams. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the project's OFCI/CFCI commissioning activities. Establish, manage and close out the project Commissioning Plan. Lead and manage commissioning and testing personnel. Manage commissioning tagging processes and procedures. Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT) and offsite testing processes. Review lessons learned and implement improvements into vendor scopes, scripts and purchase orders. Ensure construction and acceptance phase deliverables are planned and resourced across L0–L5. Coordinate vendor and site activities with other discipline leads. Manage commissioning resources, labour allocation and daily tracking. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Data Centres

About the Role A leading specialist contractor operating across the European data centre sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The organisation delivers large-scale, technically complex data centre projects across multiple European locations, providing turnkey construction solutions from project development through to completion. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new projects, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with experience working within a fast-paced construction or engineering environment. This is an opportunity to work on major critical infrastructure projects, taking responsibility for the commercial management of projects and packages from procurement through to final account. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial and financial aspects of designated project packages from procurement through to completion. Lead and support the procurement of subcontractor and supplier packages, ensuring scopes are fully defined and technically complete. Prepare and review tender documentation, analyse returns and support the negotiation and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers. Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure commercial matters are aligned with programme and delivery requirements. Support the successful commercial close-out of projects, ensuring outstanding variations, claims, payments and final accounts are resolved. Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within the construction or engineering sector. Previous experience within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment would be highly advantageous. Previous data centre experience would be a significant advantage, although candidates from other technically complex construction environments will be considered. Relevant Level 8 degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline. Strong understanding of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts. Commercially aware with the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple commercial priorities.
