Consultant - AI & Data - Industries

🏢 EYhttps://static.whatjobs.com/static/ajCore/img/jobPosting/companyLogo/whatJobs_ob_default.png

The Opportunity: Your Next Adventure Awaits? AI is moving from experimentation to enterprise execution. Organisations now need leaders who can connect ambition to architecture, data foundations to deployed products, and emerging technology to measurable business value. At EY Belgium, our Data & AI practice is growing rapidly, and we are investing significantly in the capabilities, talent and propositions that will define our next phase. We work with leading organisations on Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, data platforms, AI-ready data foundations, AI engineering, data engineering, intelligent operations and responsible adoption. Our work spans strategy, engineering and transformation: from shaping an AI Strategy or Data Strategy to building scalable solutions, modernising Data Architecture and embedding new ways of working. This is an opportunity to build, not just to manage. As Senior Manager – AI & Data, you will join us at a moment of momentum and help shape what comes next. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy × AI/Data × engineering × leadership —moving comfortably from boardroom discussions and executive workshops to architecture decisions, engineering teams, AI prototypes, transformation roadmaps and commercial conversations. Your Key Responsibilities You will lead complex Data & AI engagements from first conversation through implementation and value realisation. You will work directly with C-level and senior stakeholders, structure ambiguous problems, shape transformation roadmaps and turn business priorities into secure, scalable technology solutions. Lead with outcomes. Own major AI Transformation, Digital Transformation and Data & AI programmes, keeping business value, adoption, governance and delivery quality in view. Shape the answer. Define AI Strategy, Data Strategy, target operating models, transformation roadmaps and investment priorities with senior client leaders. Design for scale. Guide AI Architecture, Data Architecture, cloud-native architectures and modern Data Platforms, including integration, APIs, streaming and event-driven patterns. Stay close to the build. Oversee—and where relevant contribute to—solution design, prototypes and engineering decisions across Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Machine Learning, MLOps and LLMOps. Lead multidisciplinary teams. Bring together AI Engineering, Data Engineering, architecture, product, industry, change and governance specialists; coach them and create the conditions for exceptional work. Build trust into delivery. Embed AI Governance, Responsible AI, security, data quality and human oversight without slowing innovation. Grow the business. Build trusted client relationships, identify new opportunities, shape compelling proposals and expand our work with existing and new clients. You will not simply join an established team—you will help shape what we become. Working with the practice leadership, you will turn market signals and delivery experience into differentiated capabilities that clients can understand, buy and scale. Create new AI & Data offerings and sharper client propositions. Develop reusable accelerators, reference architectures and delivery assets. Help shape our forward-deployed AI Engineering model: compact, senior teams working side by side with clients to move rapidly from problem to production. Strengthen our AI Engineering and Data Engineering capabilities, standards and communities. Recruit exceptional talent and develop consultants, engineers and future leaders. Build strategic alliances and activate our technology ecosystem. Create thought leadership and support focused go-to-market activity. Help set the future direction, investment priorities and market position of the practice. Your Profile You may currently be a Senior Manager AI, Senior Manager Data, AI Consultant, AI Architect, engineering leader or Technology Consulting leader. Titles matter less than the range you can cover: strategy through implementation, client leadership through engineering depth, and delivery through commercial growth. Typically 5-8+ years of relevant professional experience in AI, Data, technology consulting or enterprise transformation, including responsibility for complex client engagements and multidisciplinary teams. Strong engineering fundamentals and the credibility to challenge architecture, delivery choices and technical trade-offs. Practical knowledge across Generative AI and GenAI, Agentic AI, AI Agents, prompt engineering, RAG, AI application development, Machine Learning, MLOps or LLMOps. Experience with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, data products, governance, quality, integration, APIs, streaming, data lakes or lakehouses. Familiarity with Cloud platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud; Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake; and languages such as Python and SQL. A strong strategic and commercial mindset: you can link technology choices to value, shape opportunities and earn trust with senior stakeholders. Clear, confident communication and the ability to facilitate executive workshops and make complex topics understandable. An entrepreneurial drive to build offerings, teams, relationships and market relevance—not only deliver projects. Curiosity, humility and the ability to learn rapidly. We value breadth, depth and judgement over a checklist of tools. A background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Business Engineering or a related discipline can be valuable, but equivalent experience is equally relevant. Professional fluency in English is essential; Dutch and/or French is an advantage in the Belgian market. We are expanding our work in Industrial Data, IT/OT integration, Smart Factory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Intelligent Operations. Experience with IoT, Industrial AI, shop-floor data, data contextualisation or digital twins is a strong advantage. Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - Work Environment (x/f/m)

🏢 Alanhttps://static.whatjobs.com/static/ajCore/img/jobPosting/companyLogo/whatJobs_ob_default.png

Health can’t wait. Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. Build the AI-native company, for real. Alan has spent 10 years developing a distinctive way of working: radical transparency, written culture, distributed decision-making, no managers, no meetings by default. This wasn't just philosophy. It was a deliberate architectural choice, and it made Alan one of the most productive companies in European tech. Now, agentic AI empowers us to make it much more personalized. The principles that made Alan productive become the foundation for a much more ambitious journey: a company where AI agents handle organizational complexity, surface the right context instantly, and let every person focus on the work that matters. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will: Build the AI-powered internal platform that every Alaner uses daily to navigate the company, find context, and take action. Design and ship intelligent agents that automate real organizational workflows: onboarding, knowledge retrieval, performance alignment, decision support. Push LLMs into production for structured reasoning, agentic task execution, and deep integration with internal tools. Define the primitives and abstractions of AI-native work, the patterns that scale across every team and every country Alan operates in. Replace generic tools (HRIS, performance reviews, IAM) with opinionated, Alan-native software that compounds with our culture. Build and scale our Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and user lifecycle across 25+ systems. Collaborate with product, design, security and leadership to turn Alan's cultural principles into software that amplifies them. Why this role is special Alan's written, transparent, async culture generates an extraordinary volume of structured organizational knowledge. Most companies can't feed AI agents with high-quality internal data. Alan already can. The team is building a full AI-native operational layer from scratch, not adding copilots to legacy tools. Every Alaner uses what you ship, every day. The feedback loop between building and impact is immediate. The work sits at the frontier of applied AI: agents, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, tool use, human-in-the-loop design. The ambition goes beyond Alan. The patterns you build here could define how high-performance companies operate in the AI era. Your playground Stack: Python/Flask, React, PostgreSQL, plus deep integration with LLM APIs and internal AI infrastructure. What you'll do: design and ship AI-native tools that power how Alan works. automated workflows, organizational navigation, agentic assistants. Impact: your work shapes the daily experience of every Alaner and builds the playbook for the AI-native company. Who we're looking for Software engineers with +5 years of experience, ideally with backend or full-stack experience. Genuinely excited about AI and eager to explore what LLMs, agents, and retrieval systems can do inside a real product. Comfortable building in fast-moving territory where the right abstractions don't exist yet. Well-versed in OOP languages (Python, Java, C#) and modern web technologies. Fluent in English (French is a plus but not required). Curious, self-starting, humble, collaborative, and eager to grow. Perks & benefits Fair rewards & equity packages. Flexible office & remote options. Top-tier equipment: MacBook Pro, monitor, noise-canceling headphones. Flexible vacation & hours. Comprehensive healthcare for you, children, and partners. Transport support and coaching for personal growth. Training budget for conferences, courses, books. Extended parental leave for all parents. Recruitment note We hire people, not roles. Don't worry if you don't check every box. High potential and curiosity matter most. We may even suggest another team if we see a better fit.
