French and German speaking Technical Sales Manager

Location: Home and Field-Based across Germany and France

Salary: Up to €70,000 per annum depending on experience plus bonus plus car allowance

The Company:

A leading engineering and manufacturing company that provides electrical and electronic solutions for different industries.

Main Duties:

To manage key customer and distributor relationships across established European export markets, while identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth.

The Role:

• Manage and grow relationships with key customers and business partners in the DACH and French regions, with potential to expand into additional European territories
• Take ownership of designated projects throughout the sales process, working closely with project managers to meet customer requirements.
• Travel to visit clients on-site for meetings, exhibitions, product demonstrations and industry events (up to 60% of the time for the first year)
• Support with quotations and tender documents where required
• Record customer visits and outcomes in the CRM system, and prepare sales forecasts and reports
• Analyse competitor activity and market intelligence to identify new opportunities, build sales pipeline and increase market share

The Candidate:

• Fluent in French and German (written and spoken) with strong English - Essential
• Proven experience in B2B technical sales (electric or electronic backgrounds preferred)
• Strong track record of maintaining existing accounts and developing new business
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Well organised, with good CRM, reporting and pipeline management skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively across Europe with a full driving licence.
• Based in either Eastern France or Western Germany for an easy commute across the designated territory
