Quantity Surveyor

Silverback is recruiting on behalf of a leading international contractor currently delivering a major mission-critical construction project in Stockholm, Sweden.

We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors specializing across Electrical, Mechanical (M&E), and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) disciplines. In this role, you will take commercial ownership of your designated package - managing cost control, subcontractor accounts, contract variations, and final accounts from procurement through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost control, CVRs, cash flow forecasting, and monthly commercial reporting for complex data center MEP/CSA packages.
• Handle subcontractor procurement, interim payment applications, change orders, and final accounts.
• Administer change management and ensure strict contract compliance (FIDIC / NEC / AB 04 / ABT 06).
• Liaise with the client commercial team, MEP package managers, and engineering leads to mitigate financial risks.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Sector Experience (Essential): Mandatory hands-on QS experience in Data Centers or high-tech mission-critical infrastructure (pharma, semiconductor, energy).
• Specialization: Focus on Electrical (MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators), Mechanical (chillers, cooling loops, HVAC, BMS), or CSA (substructures, envelope, fit-out).
• Skills: Solid contract knowledge (FIDIC / NEC / Swedish standard contracts), cost software proficiency, and fluent English.
